About Brendan

Brendan provides multiculturally competent, diversity-sensitive, scientifically informed psychotherapy and counselling techniques in an accepting, supportive, honest, and encouraging therapeutic environment. In session, you will experience genuine, empathetic, non-judgemental therapeutic exploration of whatever it is that may be troubling you.

Brendan works with clients from a Person-Centred foundational theoretical orientation. This means that when working together you will find empathic understanding, authentic communication, and unconditional positive regard remain constant as a stable therapeutic frame. Atop this frame, you will find empirically supported psychotherapeutic tools from modalities such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and LENS Neurofeedback to be offered as appropriate per your individual needs.

Education and Experience

Brendan holds a Master’s degree in counselling psychology, a B.A. (Honours) in psychology, a nutritionist diploma, a fitness coaching certification, and am currently completing a doctorate (PhD) in neuropsychology. He specializes in helping those suffering from anxiety, phobias, depression, relationship issues, diversity-related concerns (cultural, racial, religious, gender identity, sexuality), professional/academic-related stress, relationship issues, sex therapy, and body-image-related concerns and behaviours.
